Commander of the Special Forces, Major General Fadl Baash survived an assassination attempt by a car bombing in Abyan governorate on Monday.
Security sources said that a large car bomb explosion occurred in Zinjibar city, capital of Abyan governorate, targeting the vehicle of the commander of the Special Forces who survived the assassination bid, but three of his companions were seriously injured in the terrorist operation.
