The United States strongly condemned the attack on September 25th reportedly carried out by Houthi elements on the Saudi-Yemeni border that killed Bahraini service members and injured others, the US Department of Defense said in a statement.
The statement noted that "Such unacceptable attacks threaten the longest period of calm since the war in Yemen began."
The US also extended its heartfelt condolences to the people of Bahrain, to its partners in the Bahrain Defense Force, and to the Government of Bahrain.”
