Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, carried out discussions with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, other senior Egyptian officials, and Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States (LAS), Hossam Zaki in Cairo.
During his meeting, Grundberg briefed on the ongoing mediation efforts to resume an inclusive Yemeni-owned political process under UN auspices to reach a sustainable political settlement.
