Soon it will end up with the return of two states in the south and the north of Yemen for the sake of restoring a lasting peace in this vital region of the world, Vice President of the Southern National Assembly, Head of the Research and Decision Support Center of the Southern Transitional Council, Lutfi Shatara said in a statement published on his Twitter account.
Shatara explained that "The two-state option, which moves forward at a pace, is a lasting one for the return of stability, and consolidation of security and peace in the region and the world."
He concluding by affirming that "Coexistence between North and South is possible within the framework of two reconciled states."
Previously, Shatara said that the two-state solution (North and South) remains the only acceptable way out of the Yemeni crisis.
Shatara's call aims at ensuring coexistence formula between the South and the North and what's more, ensuring security and stability at both the regional and international levels.
"The legitimate interest of Southerners prioritizes the two-state solution as the foundation of any future rational political solution, otherwise everyone's interests to maintain political stability, promote development and combat terrorism would not be realized." he added.
