Security chief of Aden, Major General Mutaher Ali Naji al-Shu'aibi received in his office on Wednesday, a delegation from Yemen Center for Human Rights Studies.
The meeting focused on the role that civil society organizations can play in addressing issues and effects of wars and conflicts on local communities.
The meeting touched on restorative justice, social justice and community partnership with security agencies in tackling non-criminal problems in a step towards alleviating some of the burdens on the police stations.
Al-Shu'aibi explained that the imbalances experienced by the society require a real partnership with local community committees and with all the relevant parties, stressing the important role in coordinating a joint action plan to alleviate the suffering of people, and maintain security and stability as well.
