Heavy gun battles erupted in the northern parts of al-Dhale governorate on Wednesday, between the southern forces and the Pro-Iran Houthi militia.
The joint operations of Al-Dhale Axis said in a statement that the pro-Iran militants launched an attack on the locations under the control of the southern forces in the north west of the province in a bid to sneak into the strategic heights of al-Thokhab sector in al-Hasha district.
After an hour of heavy fighting, the southern forces managed to drive back the Houthis, inflicting heavy casualties and material losses on them.
