The coastal cities of Hadramout were decorated with the national flags of the South to celebrate the sixth session of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, scheduled to take place in al-Mukalla, the capital of the governorate, on May 21.
The southern flags and large portraits of the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Aidroos Qassem al-Zubaidi were raised in the main streets, state-run facilities, important sites and high buildings in al-Mukalla.
High-ranking leader in the Southern Transitional Council described the sixth session of the National Assembly by saying "The South (the people) will meet with open arms on the coast of al-Mukalla, the mermaid of the Arabian Sea."
Lutfi Shatara, Head of the Research and Decision Support Center, Vice President of the National Assembly wrote on his official Twitter account "Dear ones, the time for meeting has come in a manner that will befit the greatness of the Southern Cause and the status of Hadramout.
