 Southern National Dialogue was extended for an additional day, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Lutfi Shatara announced on Sunday.

The inclusive and consultative meetings of the southern forces started on May 4 and it was originally scheduled to conclude today May 7.

Shatara indicated that adding a day on to the southern dialogue is an evidence of the seriousness of the participants to reach a binding 'Southern Code of Honor' and shape the future for the Southern Federal State.

He stressed that those who are engaged in the dialogue have to make way for competent politicians, not militants.

"Especially at this delicate stage, the South needs well-experienced politicians rather than revolutionists." Shatara explained.
