Amr Ali Salem al-Bidh, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Special Representative of the STC's President, Aidroos al-Zubaidi for Foreign Affairs and younger son of the ex-president of People's Democratic Republic of Yemen (South Yemen) arrived in the capital Aden on Friday for the first time after 29 years of forced absence.
Al-Bidh, his family along with large numbers of high-ranking officials were forced to abandon their homeland, the South, after the northern invasion in 1994.
Upon his arrival, Al-Bidh expressed his happiness and affirmed that he will carry on the struggle until the full achievement of the national goals and the return of the Southern State.
