LLA Hosts Cultural Event to Mark World Radio Day

Love and Loyalty for Aden Foundation (LLA) a cultural event on Tuesday, to mark the World Radio Day, observed annually on 13 February to spread awareness on the importance of radio and its unique value.
During the cultural evening, a number of journalists shed light on the key role played by Aden Radio in the Arab world and the Arabian Peninsula, including a brief history on Aden Radio and its role in informing and enlightening the public.
The participants also touched on the leading names who left indelible mark on the broadcasting work in Aden, in particular the veteran broadcaster and media professional, Mrs. Nabila Hammoud who was the first woman in the Arab world to gain confidence and to be named as General Manager of Radio Programs.
