Yemeni forces of the First Military Region reportedly opened fire on demonstrators to repress a peaceful protest staged on Thursday night in Seiyun city of Wadi Hadramout.
The participants demanded the immediate withdrawal of the forces of the First Military Region from Wadi Hadramout, accusing them of loyalism to the Muslim Brotherhood organization.
They demanded to hand over the security file to the Hadrami Elite Forces and to fully implement the remaining items of the Riyadh Agreement, in particular the military side.
