The Southern Armed Forces managed to thwart an infiltration attempt launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia in the north of al-Dhale province.
The Media Centre of Al-Dhale Axis reported on Thursday morning that the pro-Iran militants launched a violent attack on the locations under the control of the southern forces in al-Fakher sector in the north of the province in a bid to sneak into the strategic Othman heights.
The Media Centre affirmed in a statement that the southern forces drove back the Houthis' desperate attack, adding that the escalation was part of the Houthi continuous military operations in al-Dhale in defiance of the UN-mediated truce.
