The Islah Party, Yemen's military wing of Muslim Brotherhood, is in very close contact, not ony with the terrorist groups, including al-Qaeda, but also with the Iran-backed Houthi militia, the Head of the European Center for Counter-Terrorism and Intelligence Studies, Jassim Mohamed said in a statement to Aden Independent Channel AIC on Monday.

Despite the different faiths between the Islah Party and Houthis, they share the same interests as political groups. They are interdependent on each other and interact at many levels, Jassim Mohamed affirmed.

He explained that the two groups seek to weaken the government, undermine security and stability, and fight Yemen's legitimacy in order to serve their respective interests.

The Islah Party is very rooted in Yemen and has Influential members at the political level, including Abdul Majeed al-Zindani who is one of the most wanted terrorists for funding and supporting terrorism in Yemen and the world, Jassim Mohamed added.
