In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Yemeni Siamese twins "Yousuf and Yassin" arrived at King Salman Airbase on Wednesday, accompanied by their parents, coming from Hadramout, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Upon arrival, they were transferred to King Abdullah Specialist Hospital for Pediatrics to study their case and consider subjecting them to a separation surgery.

The initiative comes in response to the difficult circumstances facing Yemen and reflects the humanitarian role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards dozens of stricken and needy countries around the world.

The Yemeni Siamese twin is the 116th case to arrive from 21 countries, in order to be examined by the Saudi National Program for Separating Conjoined Twins.
