The supreme national emergency committee for coronavirus reported on Sunday, 16 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in five governorates.
The committee also reported the death of 4 coronavirus patients, in addition to the recovery of 81 others.
1,009 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests for the virus were carried out on the same day, the statement added.
According to the daily counts over the past hours, the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus has reached 6,341, including 1,233 deaths and 2,875 recoveries in the liberated areas of Yemen.
