The Houthi artillery units continue to shell the positions of al-Amalika and the joint forces in al-Duraihimi district and al-Saleh city in Hodeida governorate, west Yemen.
Military field sources reported that the Houthi artillery units rained down the positions of al-Amalika and the joint forces with heavy mortar shells and machine guns, injuring at least one soldier in al-Duraihimi district, south Hodeidah.
The same sources added that the Houthi militants also target the positions of the joint forces in the eastern parts of al-Saleh city, using heavy mortar shells and machine guns.
The pro-Iran militants recently intensified their fire attacks on the brigades of al-Amalika and the joint forces, using different types of weapons in different areas of Hodeidah in defiance of the U.N.-mediated ceasefire in the province.
The reconnaissance units recorded hundreds of Houthi violations since the truce came into effect at the end of 2018.
