Iran-backed Houthi putschist militia targeted on Sunday, the locations under the control of al-Amalika brigades in al-Tuhita district, south of Hodeidah governorate.

Military field sources said that the Houthi artillery units violently rained down al-Amalika positions in areas around and in al-Tuhita with mortar rounds and heavy machine guns.

Al-Amalika positions in the desert area of al-Jabaliya were also subjected to extremely intensive fire from heavy weapons, including artillery shells and missiles, the same sources added.

Al-Amalika Media Centre said that the Houthi daily shelling of those areas is in retaliation for losing ground in the province, profiting from the U.N-mediated ceasefire in Hodeidah and the Stockholm agreement reached last December.
