Southern Transitional Council staged a women's demonstration in Aden on Monday, in solidarity with the southern fighters on the battlefronts.

The participants hailed the heroic role of the fighters in preventing the invasion of the territorial sovereignty of the South by the northern forces for the third time after 1994 and 2015.

They highly valued the enormous sacrifices made by the heroes of the Southern Resistance to repulse the Houthi aggression on the South, affirming their support for defending the southern land.

The demonstrators said that the only solution to the current crisis is the disengagement and the restoration of the southern state with its pre-22 May 1990 borders, adding that the Southerners have the freedom to choose their political system.

The participants called on the Arab Coalition countries to stand by the Southern Resistance to drive back the brutal aggression of the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia on the South.

The demonstrators delivered a message on behalf of the southern women to the heah of Political Affairs in the Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen (OSESGY) Marwan Ali in which they affirmed the right of the Southerners to restore their own State.

The message also demanded the United Nations to tackle the issues of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and illegal refugees and immigrants from the Horn of Africa and to provide aid to needy individuals and communities.
