 Fierce confrontations broke up between al-Amalika forces and the Iran-backed Houthi putschist militia in Hays district of Hodeidah on Saturday night.

Military field sources reported that the Houthi militants launched a multi-directional attack on the locations controlled by al-Amalika brigades in the northeast of Hays district in the night hours, using all kinds of weapons, including missiles.

in another development, well-informed military sources said that a Houthi field commander called Fadl Ahmad Rajeh al-Ja'ashi and a number of his companions were badly injured when their car drove over a landmine in the areas under the control of the pro-Iran militia, adding that the foot of the Houthi commander had been amputated in the blast.

It's worth mentioning that the indiscriminately planted landmines by the Houthis on roads, in farms, houses, schools, hospitals and markets of Hodeidah, including the regions under their control, killed and injured many Houthi commanders and fighters, according to confirmed information in those areas.
