35 trucks provided by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) crossed Al-Wadiah border, carrying school supply and equipment items for the governorates of Abyan, Marib and Hodeidah.
KSrelief said in a statement that the aid convoy is within the project "Together for Education in Yemen”, it includes 8,750 school chairs to be distributed to the three governorates; 5,500 chairs for Abyan, 1,250 chairs for Marib and 2,000 chairs for Hodeidah, within the framework of the allocated number for Yemeni provinces, totaling 50,000 school chairs.
KSrelief added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aims, through the project Together for Education in Yemen, to support the educational sector in the country.
