The security and military leaders loyal to Yemen's Muslim Brotherhood rebelled against the constitutional legitimacy in Taiz by refusing to comply with the governor's orders to stop the armed campaign against the inhabitants of the Old City in Taiz.

The governor of Taiz said that he will not allow any disorder or outlaw actions within the security and military institutions.

The governor said in his tweet that the previous orders were clear, the security crackdown must stop firing  and withdraw from its newly created positions, adding that the leaders of the security crackdown will be held accountable for violating the orders and rebelling against the decisions of the local authority represented by the governor and head of the security committee.

Taiz's security chief, Brigadier Mansour Al-Akhali totally rejected the governor's orders and went on to accuse him of escaping from his tasks, affirming that the security crackdown will continue as planned and will not stop.

Earlier, the vice president of the Southern Transitional Council, Sheikh Hani Ben Brik wrote on his official Twitter account "we expect a firm stance to be taken by the Arab Coalition against these militias that their terrorist plans obviously became uncovered and meant to serve the State of Qatar."
