The Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias used all types of weapons; medium and heavy artillery rounds and missiles, to shell the locations under the control of al-Amalika brigades and residential areas in Hodeidah governorate in defiance of the UN-mediated ceasefire.

Military field sources said that the Houthi militants fired heavy shells on Monday, at the Amalika positions in Hays and al-Tuhita districts, injuring at least two soldiers.

The pro-Iran militants also targeted the people's homes and farms on the outskirts of Hays district.

The Houthis recently intensified targeting al-Amalika brigades and residential areas in several regions of Hodeidah, causing widespread destruction of homes, farms and local markets.
