 The Iran-backed Houthi putschist militia scaled up its attack against al-Amalika brigades by shelling their positions in al-Hodeidah in defiance of the U.N.-mediated ceasefire.

The pro-Iran militants rained down on Friday, the locations of al-Amalika with different kind of weapons in al-Faza and al-Jabaliya areas of al-Tuhita district. south of Hodeidah.

On the same track, al-Amalika brigades foiled yesterday evening a surprise attack launched by the Houthi rebels on their positions in al-Faza area.

The reconnaissance units reported that the Houthi infiltration attempt on Thursday came after heavy shelling by the Houthi militants of al-Amalika brigades with mortar and B-10 rounds.

The same source added that al-Amalika forces managed to repulse the attack and to inflict heavy human and material losses on the pro-Iran Houthi rebels.
