Member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Lutfi Shatara said that the South stated its stance against the convening of Yemen's parliament in Seiyun, Hadramout.

Shatara wrote on his Twitter official account that "the pictures alone are sufficient for all the world to see that the Southerners, from al-Mahra to Bab-el-Mandeb, have one goal in common; popular rejection of any parliament that does not represent them."

"The popular mobilization to express refusal of holding the parliamentary meetings in Seiyun is a clear evidence that the Southerners won't accept diluting their cause or detract from their will to restore their own state." Shatara added.
