In a serious military escalation, two southern soldiers were injured on Monday in separate attacks launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia against locations and sectors under the control of the Southern Army in al-Dhale province.
Military field sources reported that the Houthis used armed drones to target the positions of the 30th Brigade where a soldier was injured as result, adding that another soldier was seriously injured by a Houthi sniper's bullet.
Last week, a soldier of the Southern Armed Forces was killed and a war photographer was injured in a drone attack launched by the Houthi rebels in the north of al-Dhale.
Officials told the press that the pro-Iran militants continue to breach the U.N.-mediated ceasefire by targeting the locations of the southern army and the people's homes in the northern parts of al-Dhale province.
