Well-informed Yemeni sources reported that there are understandings and consensus between the UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, and the Houthi militia on opening a number of roads in Taiz and other Yemeni governorates, noting that this came after the envoy’s recent visit to Sanaa.
For its part, the government delegation indicated in Jordan’s consultations on the roads of Taiz and other governorates, that it did not receive any information from the UN envoy about the results of his talks with the Houthis in Sana’a, especially with regard to the envoy’s proposal to open roads in Taiz and Yemeni governorates, which provides for the opening of five main roads. And a subsidiary in Taiz and Al-Dhale.
The UN envoy, Hans Grundberg, left Thursday evening, the capital, Sanaa, without making any press statement about the results of his consultations in Sanaa, after the militias rejected his proposal in the Jordan consultations.
