New images have been circulated and widely shared by citizens on social media sites revealed on Sunday, intensive oil smuggling operations conducted by Muslim Brotherhood militia from Shabwa to Houthi-held areas.

The photos showed dozens of fuel trucks leaving sector 2 on its way to sector 4 to be exported later through the port of al-Noshima in the coastal district of Rodhoom in the southern oil rich province of Shabwa.

Oil smuggling is one of the lucrative financial sources for the Muslim Brotherhood-linked authorities in Shabwa led by its governor, Mohammed Bin Adeow.

The people of the oil-rich province of Shabwa still suffer from high prices of food and fuel, in addition to lack of drinking water and continuous power cuts.
