Security forces of Yemen's Muslim Brotherhood wing within the legitimate government arrested in Shabwa on Tuesday, a senior security official while passing through the governorate.
The Commander of Al-Mahra's Emergency Forces, Wadah Al-Kaldi was coming from the southern capital Aden on his way to al-Mahra province when security forces belong to the governor of Shabwa, Mohammed Saleh bin Adio abducted him, local sources spoke on condition of anonymity.
According to a human rights activist, the arrest had been conducted without clear cause or valid legal reasons.
It's worth mentioning that dozens of Southerners, including southern officials, senior tribal figures and even children are still under incommunicado detention by Muslim Brotherhood-linked authorities in the oil-rich Shabwa governorate since August 2019.
