The Iran-backed Houthi militia willfully launched heavy shelling and fired at civilian areas in the northwest of al-Dhale over the past two days.

The Houthi tanks and infantry combat vehicles (BMP) shelled the densely populated village of Sulim in the eastern parts of Al-Fakher city where the family of Mussa'ed Al-Hanomi miraculously escaped certain death.

A tank shell directly hit al-Hanomi's house on Wednesday morning, totally destroying one of the rooms along with the luggage and belongings, al-Dhale media centre reported.

"My grandson and I were slightly injured by the blast that occurred only 1.5 meters away from us." al-Hanomi's wife told al-Dhale media centre, adding "We were grabbed out of heaps of debris in the entirely destroyed room."

Amid absolute silence of human rights agencies, the pro-Iran Houthi militia continues to target civilians and residential areas, in particular in the northern parts of al-Dhale, killing and injuring hundreds of innocent people, in addition to destroying many houses and other properties.
