The Southern Transition Council (STC) reiterated its rejection of Hadi's decision to appoint a security officer to the post of the President of the Supreme Judicial Council.
The STC spokesman, Abdullah Al Kathiri said in a statement on Tuesday that the STC unequivocally rejects such appointment, as well as all the unilateral and non-consensus decisions taken by the Yemeni presidency which represent a blow to the spirit and contents of the Riyadh Agreement.
In a previous statement, Al Kathiri affirmed that the Hadi's unilateral decisions are a serious escalation and a clear and rejected deviation from the deal reached in Riyadh.
He also affirmed that the STC reserves the right to take what it takes to protect the South, its people, its cause and its achievements.
The STC accused the president Hadi of appointing corrupt figures involved in major crimes to high-level positions within the power-sharing government.
