Dozens of people took to the streets of al-Mukalla, the capital of Hadramout governorate, in a protest against the presence of Islah-linked militias, the military wing of the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen.

The protestors demanded to proscribe the Muslim Brotherhood Organization as a terrorist and to ban all its activities, affirming that the country should be on par with the Gulf states and the rest of the Arab world.

The anti-Muslim Brotherhood protestors also called for the return of the Hadrami Elite Forces (HEF), the removal of the forces of the first military region from Wadi-Hadramout and handing over the security file to the HEF.
