Security Belt Forces thwarted on Friday, an attempt to smuggle a shipment of hashish into the capital Aden.
The drug was seized at a checkpoint on the outskirts of Lahj governorate, said the security officials, adding that an amount of hashish was hidden in a bus heading to Aden.
The smuggler was referred to the competent authorities in the capital for investigations.
It's worth mentioning that the Security Belt Forces have foiled recently a number of drug smuggling operations targeting Aden and the South.
