At least five people were killed and seven others were badly injured on Tuesday, by a blast of a Houthi laid-mine in al-Tuhita district, in the south of Hodeidah governorate.
Local and medical sources said that five persons, including a woman an a child were killed and seven others were severely injured as a result of a landmine explosion when their car took the dirt road between al-Tuhita and al-Khokha.
The pro-Iran Houthi rebels continue to plant landmines and improvised explosive devices, in addition to heavy shelling of residential areas causing an increase in the number of casualties among innocent civilians.
