The Yemeni Ministry of Defense's official website 'September Net' said that at least 267 pro-Iran rebels were killed and injured, including African mercenaries, in the five days of ongoing fighting in Al-Dhale province, in the South.
According to September Net, 167 Houthi militants were killed including a ground leader known as Ibrahim Ali Al-Akra, and others 100 injured during heavy clashes with national army in the past five days in Al-Dhale province, southern the country.
The national army forces managed to thwart several attacks by Houthi militia in the fronts of Morais and Damt, north of Al-Dhale. Several militia’s combat vehicles including tank were also destroyed.
The Iran-backed Houthi putschist militia send Africans, mostly Somalis in groups into the battlefields to fight in their ranks, exploiting their living conditions and their legal status in the country.
Witnesses told September Net that about seven vehicles carrying Houthi dead bodies had been seen in Damt city as al-Ahram village held funeral service for dozens of Houthi fighters killed in Al-Dhale.
