 Aden governor Ahmed Lamlas, accompanied by the President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Ahmed Sa'id Ben Brik visited on Monday, the military protestors who set up tents for sit-ins in front of the gate of the headquarters of the Arab Coalition in Aden over delayed salaries and financial dues.

During the meeting with the retired military personnel, Lamlas and Ben Brik affirmed their firm support for the protesters' legitimate rights.

Lamlas revealed that a deal was reached with the Yemeni government and presidency to end the suffering of the southern military retirees.

For his part, Ben Brik noted that the Southern Transitional Council held talks with the Arab Coalition Command on responding to the legitimate demands of the retirees, adding that due to the financial deficit in the country they will receive a two months' salary every month.
