 The UAE Red Crescent inaugurated fisheries and assembling and refrigerating projects in Khokha -Hodeida governorate on the harbour.

The two projects were inaugurated by Al Faisal Company for Energy Solutions and were set according to the required standards.

The development was opened by the Director of Humanitarian Affairs at the UAE Red Crescent in Yemen, Abu Salim and the undersecretary of Hodeidah for Humanitarian Affairs Hashim Al-Azaizi and the directors general of Al-Khokha Directorate Mohamed Yahya Abdel Salam.

Abu Salim stressed that the fishermen and the community needed the humanitarian project. He stated that the project was funded by the UAE Red Crescent as part of a series of projects which the UAE worked on to provide the suitable services for the residents of the West Coast.

 The undersecretary of Hodeida Hashem Al-Azaizi praised the role of the UAE which provided many humanitarian projects in the governorate.
He noted the enormity of the projects which the UAE carried out along the coastline from Bab al-Mandeb to Hodeida.

In the same context, the director of the Fisheries Center in  Khokha Dawood Doubleh, noted the extent of the benefit that the project will achieve for the fishermen in the directorate.

He pointing out that Khokha received many fishermen who took refuge from other areas because they wanted to benefit from the privileges the fishermen of Khokha enjoy.
