 Member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Vice-President of the National Assembly for Control and Inspection, Mr. Lufti Shatara affirmed that the STC has many officials who are capable of efficiently conducting the State administration.

On his Friday's tweet, Shatara said that the STC has a number of top officials equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary in running the southern economy and security files; Lamlas is a model.

The STC's secretary general, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas was appointed as governor of Aden governorate as part of the new mechanism to implement the power sharing agreement sponsored by Saudi Arabia, officially called The Riyadh Agreement.

Since the appointment of the new governor, Aden is witnessing a set of measures and activities that meant to improve the basic infrastructure, living standards and access for public services.

Lamlas removed the directors of Aden's eight districts replacing them with new ones, last Saturday. He also sacked on Wednesday, the director of 22 May Hospital (al-Mansoura) and referred him along with his administrative staff to the concerned bodies for investigation over negligence.

The decisions of the governor were highly welcomed by the people in the city that its situation has seriously deteriorated over the past years.
