 ِThe Second Annual Aden Cake Art Exhibition took place on Saturday in Aden Mall. The exhibition is within Global Shapers Community Empowerment program in Aden. The exhibition was sponsored by AlSanabel - Yemen Company for Flour Mills And Silos.

 A large number of colourful designs of cake,s which varied in their contents and flavours were on display. Some cake decorations reflected themes from children’s fairy tales and others reflected a touch of Adeni culture. One of the peoples' favourites was a cake in the shape of the Aden TV which had the picture of a popular female presenter. Another cake represented a familiar string musical instrument (Oud).

The aim of the exhibition is to empower small business and encourage entrepreneurs to start and sustain their projects. The project is one of the positive and proactive steps to fight unemployment and to keep pace with the global trend.

Aden’s second Cake Art exhibition continues to highlight the cake makers in Aden and encourage and support them.

These exhibitions create a source of income and job opportunities they also reflect the creative side of the participants.The exhibition was inaugurated by Khaled Alsido Director of Sira district and local and foreign press.

Large numbers of people attended the exhibition eager to see what is new. The exhibition was open to the public free of charge.
