Spokesman for the Southern Transitional Council, Salim Thabet al-Awlaki said the days proved the importance of the Council and its role in saving the South from the dangers of a corrupt administration, in reference to the legitimate government.
Al-Awlaki tweeted that the presence of the Southern Transitional Council saved the South from the risks of a failed administration that would have spoiled the victory achieved for the benefit of Houthi-like groups.
Al-Awlaki added that "this impotent administration would have left the South agonized while watching, just as happened with Hajour tribes" making it clear that the corrupt administration harmed and still do harm the southern scene by all means, concluding his tweet by saying "all their attempts would be doomed to failure."
