Member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Lutfi Shatara responded to those who poked fun at the visit made yesterday by the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Aidroos Al-Zubaidi to London and underestimated its importance.
Shatara wrote on his Facebook timeline that "Whatever mockeries and underestimation may be directed at the visit of president Al-Zubaidi to London, they won't change the fact that it has a paramount importance for the British side."
Shatara made it clear that "the British side will be directly informed on the achievement made by the the Southern Transitional Council on the ground, its partnership with the Arab Coalition to halt the Iranian expansion in the region and its support for the fight against terrorism and the progress made in this regard with logistical and intelligence support of the Arab Coalition, especially the UAE, with a view to establishing security, stability and development in the region."
The member of the STC Presidency added "no matter how much we may disagree with our southern brothers, we all come to terms with the fact that any effort made by any side under the roof of the South and the restoration of its state, will serve the Southerners who have long struggled to reach the desired goal."
Shatara reiterated "it is a very important visit, we are aware of its dimensions, its impact, its repercussions, its consequences and what to be harvested Insha'Allah."
