General Chief of Staff (Lt Gen) Abdullah Annakha'ee met on Sunday in Aden the head of the UN's team of monitors lieutenant general Michael Anker Lollesgaard.

The session included the government's team in the committee for the redeployment in Hodediah governorate and the meeting discussed the latest developments in the governorate.

General Annakha'ee stated that the government is very keen on peace which is based on the three well know terms of reference. He highlighted the need for greater efforts to facilitate access of relief aids to the people in need, establishing security and implementing the Sweden Agreement.

He confirmed that the government's troops are ready to secure the redeployment as stipulated by the Sweden Agreement.

The Chief of Staff stresses the importance of prioritizing tasks and carrying them out according to the specified timescale

For his part, general Lollesgaard presented suggestions to put the Stockholm's Agreement in place and an action plan for the redeployment in Hodeidah as well as the isolated areas.

Such efforts will secure safe routes for the relief of aids and humanitarian actions, which will be controlled by international forces, he said

He hoped that his suggestions will be endorsed by the two parties.
