 A displaced child was badly injured on Wednesday night by a blast of an explosive remnant of Houthi militia in al-Tuhita district, south of Hodeidah.

The 10-year-old Jamila Ahmed Ali Omar was severely injured by the explosion, medical sources told the Al-Amalika Media Centre, adding that her right hand was amputated and she sustained several cuts in her head and face.

Last Monday, a man and his two children were killed by Houthi-laid land mine explosion in Qadhaba village of al-Duraihimi district, south of Hodeidah. 

The number of civilians killed by the pro-Iran Houthi militia in Hodeidah during the months of June and July has reached 44.
