Once the mechanism to accelerate the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement was announced, the level of coordination between the terrorist militias of Muslim Brotherhood (Islah Party) and pro-Iran Houthis increased to form a sort of joint militias, the spokesman for the Abyan axis, Captain Muhammad al-Naqib said in a tweet on Sunday.
Al-Naqib indicated that "the Brotherhood's militias stepped their military escalation and mobilization and went on to carry out failed attacks on the front of Abyan concurrently with the Houthi escalation and attacks on the fronts of Karesh, al-Dhale and the West Coast."
In a previous tweet, al-Naqib said "the Qatari Turkish-backed Muslim Brotherhood's militias continue to hinder peacebuilding efforts called for by the Arab Coalition."
He accused the Brotherhood's militias of starting a brutal war against the South, affirming that they turned against the Riyadh Agreement and what's more, they continue to demonstrate their rejection of the cease-fire agreement.
Al-Naqib made it clear that any real efforts to establish peace must start with designating the Qatari Turkish-backed Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.
Right after reaching an agreement to accelerate the implementation of the Saudi-brokered Riyadh deal between the Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council, the Muslim Brotherhood's militias targeted with heavy artillery the positions under the control of the southern forces on the fronts of al-Toryia and shiekh Salem in Abyan province.
