A landmine planted by the Iran-backed Houthi coupist militia killed on Tuesday, a young man in al-Jarahi district in Hodeidah.
The 23-year-old Ibrahim Hassan Ghalib was motorbike on the main road of al-Donin village when he drove over a Houthi landmine. The explosion blew the motorcycle to pieces and Ibrahim was killed.
Local sources said that the Houthi rebels indiscriminately deployed many landmines in al-Jarahi, mostly on the roads that lead to the people's farms and houses which claimed the lives of a number of civilians and left a lot of them injured or handicapped.
The same source added that the intensively planted Houthi mines and IEDs turned the life into a nightmare, not a single day goes by without people being killed as a result of the mine explosion in farms, roads and near their homes or in direct Houthi shelling of residential neighborhoods.
