65 terrorist elements of the Muslim Brotherhood affiliated with Yemen's legitimacy were arrested by the Security Belt Forces (SBF) in Aden on Friday night.

SBF officials said that all the terrorists were in civilian clothes when they came from Shuqra of Abyan province, using rented vehicles in a bid to infiltrate into Aden city.

Earlier the same day, the SBF apprehended 35 persons tried to sneak into the city by sea. According to the preliminary investigation, they were sent to carry out terrorist operations and create unrest and chaos in Aden.

SFC officials told the press that the investigations are still continuing to know more information about their plans and targets.

The Islah's militias, the Yemeni arm of Muslim Brotherhood organization within Yemen's legitimacy carried out a large military build-up with unprecedented reinforcements in Shouqra, including hundreds of fighters brought from the northern governorates of al-Jawf and Marib, along with tanks, armored vehicles and other military equipment in a bid to invade the southern capital Aden.

The southern armed forces thwarted on Monday a massive infiltration attempt of the Islah's militias into Abyan’s capital Zinjibar with a view to advancing towards Aden.
