Member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Lutfi Shatara stressed that Britain should review its new draft resolution, cause Houthis promote options for war, not peace.

Shatara wrote on his Twitter account that the Houthis refuse to implement the Sweden agreement, reinforce their ranks with troops in Hodeidah and call for the expulsion of the Dutch General Patrick Cammaert from Hodeidah and its ports, adding that who carried out his coup by force, would surrender only by force.

According to Associated Press the British-drafted resolution would establish a United Nations political mission to oversee implementation of a cease-fire and the withdrawal of rival forces from Yemen’s key port of Hodeida.

Diplomats said the Security Council is expected to vote on the draft resolution next week.
