 A Houthi drone targeted on Thursday a military parade at al-Anad base in Lahj governorate, killing at least five soldiers and injuring others, including high-ranking officials who were reviewing the parade.

Military sources told Aden press that the governor of Lahj, Major General Ahmed al-Turki, commander of the Fourth Military Region, Maj. Gen. Fadl Hassan and the spokesman for the Fourth Military Region, Captain Mohammed al-Naqib were injured in the drone strike.

The journalist Nabil al-Quaiti who was at al-Anad base said that at about 9:30 am an unmanned aircraft appeared and exploded at an altitude of about 300 meters above the platform where senior officers were reviewing the military parade.
