The southern joint forces thwarted on Tuesday, a large-scale attack launched by the Iran-backed Houthi putschist militia on their positions in the north of al-Dhale.

Military field sources reported that the pro-Iran militants launched a violent attack against the locations under the control of the southern forces in the sector of Hajar-Bab Ghaleq, using medium and heavy weapons along with artillery shells in a bid to infiltrate into the liberated areas in the north of al-Dhale.

The same sources said that the southern forces managed to foil the infiltration attempt, inflicting heavy human and material losses on the enemy, adding that the attack was part of the Houthi continuous military operations in al-Dhalein defiance of the humanitarian truce called for by the international community and the Arab Coalition.

It's worth mentioning that the defenses of the southern forces shot down on Monday, a Houthi unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in Morais district in the north of al-Dhale.

In another context, a violent explosion rocked the province of al-Dhale on Monday, the local sources stated that it was likely caused by a ballistic missile launched by the pro-Iran rebels, but it landed in the areas under their control. No further details about the incident were provided.
