The pro-Iran Houthi putschist militia continue to target the residential neighborhoods of the eastern parts of the Red Sea port of Hodeidah in defiance of the ceasefire announced by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition.
Local sources reported that the Houthis fired mortar shells on the people's houses in Sana'a street and al-Masana neighborhood in the east of Hodeidah causing a state of fear and panic among the inhabitants, mostly women and children.
The Saudi-led Arab Coalition has announced a two-week ceasefire covering all ground, maritime and air operations in Yemen to begin on Thursday (yesterday) in an effort to contain the COVID-19 outbreak in that country.
Yemen’s supreme national emergency committee for COVID-19 reported the first case of coronavirus on Friday, April 10 in Hadhramaut province.
