A Yemeni politician hold Ministry of Information of the legitimate government responsible for the absence of its media outlets from the UN-sponsored peace talks with the pro-Iran Houthi coupist militia in Sweden.

Dr. Mohammed Jumeh tweeted that absenting the legitimate state-run media outlets from Sweden talks can not be justified and the Ministry of Information bears responsibility for it.

He added that it would have been better to send an official media team as part of the government delegation where it can be pressured into participating in the coverage, instead of blaming the United Nations.

Jameh's tweet came against the backdrop of criticism by the information minister Muammar al-Iryani at the UN special envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths in which he held him accountable for the absence of the government media outlets at the time when there is a media presence of the pro-Iran Houthi rebels.
